Lucky’s S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards Net Farm $140 in 2nd Quarter 2010

Loma Vista Farm has received a second quarterly check from Lucky's for the S.H.A.R.E.S. card program, and it was for nearly twice the amount of the first check—approximately $140!

Our goal is to have 1,000 S.H.A.R.E.S. cards in use by the end of this year.

Shopping with your Lucky’s S.H.A.R.E.S. card is a great way to help support LVF financially with no out-of-pocket cost. We need more cards out there. To request your card today, e-mail the Farm from this web site under the About Us tab, choose "Contact Us," choose the "Other" category for e-mail topic, and request the card. Remember to give us your mailing address.

Wells Fargo Awards $5,000 to Loma Vista Farm

Hassina Beserra, manager of the Wells Fargo Bank branch at 1702 Tennessee St. in Vallejo, announced on April 15, 2010 that the Wells Fargo Foundation has awarded $5,000 to Loma Vista Farm. With the support of Ms. Beserra and that of Kathy Battersby, manager of the Wells Fargo branch at 4300 Sonoma Blvd., also in Vallejo, the application/request written by Rita LeRoy in January won funding for the Farm. This award confirms that the corporate community believes in and supports Loma Vista Farm’s mission.
